About Me
Welcome! My name is Olive, I spent the last 8 years at a prestigious salon in the twin cities, where I completed a year long apprenticeship and countless continuing education classes by industry leaders such as Loreal Professional, MIZANI, Kevin Murphy, AQUA extensions to name a few. I have a passion for celebrating and equalizing ALL textures of hair, with a special love for curls and coils as it is well past due that our hair type be seen as “normal” as any other texture. I love cutting and styling, and have been twice certified in Loreal Professional’s French Balayage course. I love a good natural, low maintenance lived in highlight. All services are offered at an hourly rate to keep this space equitable to all clients based on their individual needs, and not their texture type. I want Olive The Texture to feel like as much of a sacred place to you as it does to me.
